  • Make sure you don't pay too much for your new home. As a real estate professional in this area, I help people negotiate and make home purchase decisions almost every day. I can help buyers avoid costly mistakes -- and know what they're signing before they sign it. 
  • Answer all of your questions about the local market area. Not just about homes for sale, but about schools, neighborhoods, the local economy and more. When I don't know the answer, I refer you to someone who does or find out for you.
  • The best part of having your own Realtor is that it's free. Realtors don't charge fees to buyers -- with one possible exception. Ask me to explain it to you.
  • While we're on the subject of fees, or commissions, you might ask yourself: Where does the seller get the money to pay the Realtor's commission? Answer: He gets it from you, the buyer. So doesn't it make sense to be represented by a Realtor who'll be protecting your interests?
